Our colleagues Gábina Balíková-Novotná and Markéta Koběrská visited the EMBO workshop BACNET24, where they presented their work in the form of posters. The EMBO workshop aimed to enhance the BacNet series as a leading international conference in Europe focusing on molecular microbiology, in particular bacterial signalling and regulatory networks. Recent advances have highlighted the complexity of bacterial networks and their adaptability to form diverse communities with implications for health and the environment. The workshop fostered collaboration between scientists from different disciplines and was attended by 160 participants, including 27 invited speakers. Young researchers had the opportunity to present and discuss their work, promoting the exchange of knowledge in this rapidly evolving field.
We believe they had a wonderful time and were able to gain and share a lot of interesting information and make new connections.
