25 May 2023 Dominika Luptáková and Jaroslav Semerád became the 2023 Otto Wichterle laureates. Vladimír Havlíček took this as an opportunity to organize a pleasant gathering of all laureates of OW award at IMIC.

Our PhD student Lada Hanzlíková presented her results as a poster entitled “Hascofovomycin, a new 4-alkyl-L-proline derivate isolated from marine Actinobacteria” in the Bioscience & Molecular Biology section.

May 15th -16th 2023, Helmholtz Centre for Infection Reasearch, Braunschweig, Germany Our Ph.D. student Michaela Plechata presented her results in the form of a poster at the International Helmholtz Drug Discovery Conference in Braunschweig.

14-16 March 2023 The Arctic University, Tromso, Norway Zdenek Kamenik presented our recently developed bioinformatics tool CluSeek. He gave a talk within the CANS seminars at the University of Tromso and presented a poster at the Bioprosp_23 conference organized by Tekna.
