From 26 February we welcomed visitors from Tromsø, Norway, from the Arctic University of Norway. Veronika K. Pettersen and her Ph.D. student Gaute visited our laboratories in Krč and in Vestec. During their stay, our team discussed the ongoing collaboration on (SCFA- Microbiome, Metabolome), where our Ph.D. student Anička Jelínková is the liaison between Czech and Norway due to her previous stay in Veronika’s lab in 2023. On Tuesday (27th) the group went to Nový Hrádek, where the Gnotobiology Laboratory is located, where they explored the laboratories. Wednesday was a seminar day with several presentations of the results of the joint project. The next day was dedicated to the discussion of future plans and a farewell lunch in the centre of Prague.
